We are using two terms on our website: boats and yachts. Using the term boat implies for a smaller vessel, less luxurious, hence less expensive. They are usually for bareboat charter but can be also chartered with a skipper.
All the larger and more luxury yachts are called yachts. Their luxury name implies the prestigious and stylish chartering, usually skippered and crewed. But we also have some yachts that can be chartered bareboat as well.
In our fleet all the boats / yachts can be divided on Sailing boats, motor boats, catamarans and luxury yachts. Each of this models of boats / yachts can be also divided on the number of cabins, length, number of motors, fly bridge or open boats and much more.
When you want to charter a boat, the choice depends on the several factors. The number of passengers on board is among the important things to consider what boat to take. Take into consideration that 99% of the cabins can accommodate two people and also on some sailing boats there is a table in the salon that can go down and be one more bead. It’s up to you whether to take the large matrimonial bed or bunk beds that are in some cabins. In some cabins, usually twin bedded cabins, can provide the third additional berth as well, while some can be converted into matrimonial beds.
One of the crucial factors in your decision is the budget you are disposed with. Sailing yachts prices are generally more favorable and because of that many people take them, while the motor yachts require the larger budget. However, sailing yachts and motor yachts are completely different charter types of yachts, hence the difference in price.
The experience of the skipper and the competence in navigation of the yacht will also influence the choice. The more experienced you or your skipper are, the easier the choice in taking the yacht will be. The vessel equipment is also very important, for it affects also the price and the quality of the service and the vessel age. Some items can be added upon request like snorkeling equipment or the spinnaker for experience sailors, but not necessarily included in the price of the yacht, therefore have to be extra paid.
